Mercure Charlestown

“We stayed just for a night, but our overall stay was very comfortable. I gave the rating a nine because though check in was smooth and quick, the first keycard given to us, didn't work and the room assigned to us first was at the far end of the hall. So I needed to go down to the reception and request for a new one which they reassigned us to another room closer to the staircase. My husband also would like to give compliments to the kitchen people who made the scrambled eggs that day! He said it was the best scrambled eggs he had in a hotel breakfast”

“Overnight stay in king room. Very spacious and comfortable. Location is not on a main road so was quiet. Food for dinner was good and breakfast had a great selection! Highly recommend!”

“Recently my partner and I had a five night stay at the Mercure Charlestown. Rarely do I post anything but our stay was exceptional. The room was excellent and the breakfast every morning was as good as it gets. The reception staff and catering staff were friendly and welcoming. We only dined in the restaurant on one evening - we should have done so more often. We will be back. Gail & Ken.”

The staff at Mercure could not have been more understanding or helpful. The rooms were clean and we were very happy with our experience. “We dinned here for breakfast. The buffet on offer was Fantastic, great food and the restaurant and outlook was lovely. A calming and enjoying space, refreshed decor that was welcoming and serene. We had excellent service from all the staff, we were warmly welcomed upon arrival and tentatively looked after throughout our breakfast. I recommend dining at The Mercure restaurant. From Julia”

“We are currently staying in this establishment. Our room is so clean! No mould, no dust and smells so fresh. Emily and Ryan from reception have both been amazing. Very approachable and friendly. Special shout out to Chef Alex who is so accomodating, going above and beyond for our son with anaphylactic food allergies. Highly recommend including the breakfast into the booking. So good!”
